David Leviston
David attained his Associate and Licentiate Diplomas early in his career and gained much experience as an orchestral player, chamber musician and soloist, throughout Australia. He taught and lectured in most states of Australia and has examined for the AMEB at all levels. He is a Past President of the Australian Flute Association.
History
David created Flute Fidelity in 1988. During his playing career, he owned and played on over 30 handmade flutes, familiarizing himself extensively with flute design, construction and repair. This experience led David to establish Flute Fidelity, which quickly became the preeminent flute specialist supplier in Australasia for leading brands of flutes and servicing.
In 2008 we created a new business called Flutes & Flutists and opened new premises at 140 Sailors Bay Road, Northbridge, Sydney, NSW.

The Australian Flute Festival is an organization that primarily provides a flute event of international standing for the Australasian region with a view to attracting flute players of all standards and levels of interest from around the world to participate and attend.
